1. Help! My child wants to play music and I don’t know where to start!
Firstly, welcome to the world of musical instruments! Learning a musical instrument is a fantastic hobby that can provide a lifetime of enjoyment, and even a career!
Our catalogue may look daunting, but we’re here to make the process as straightforward and enjoyable as possible. If your child has been selected for a school program, then you likely know what instrument they’re starting. Have a browse of our Brass or Woodwind instrument pages, select the instrument you’re looking for, and use the filter on the left to select the “Beginner” instruments, like this:
That will give you a bit of an idea of what new instruments are on offer, and their price range. We pride ourselves on stocking brands we trust and would play ourselves, so you can be assured any of the options on our page are suitable. There are lots of stats and specs on these pages for the nerds among us, so your mind might still be boggled. This is ok! We also have a selection of second hand instruments, all of which are scrutinized and subjected to the same quality checks as our new stock. These instruments are all fully serviced before sale and have a 12-month warranty.
2. I want to change my mouthpiece, where should I start?
If you’re looking for a change, you may already know what kind of thing you’re after. In that case, our handy shop filters can help you narrow down our massive selection to the dimensions you’re looking at, and help make the decision a little bit easier.
Just like with instruments, it’s always best to try a mouthpiece before committing to buying one. We know that isn’t always possible, but if you’re in Brisbane or Perth, feel free to give us a call and we’ll do our best to help you try and pick your perfect piece.
3. How much do you charge for shipping?
We charge a $13 flat rate shipping cost on all items ordered through our website. This includes all products found in the Shop page, such as mouthpieces, mutes, reeds and more!
We are also happy to offer free shipping on any order over $100 🙂
4. Can I return my purchase?
In general, yes! If you don’t think you’ve purchased the right thing, have no fear, we’re more than happy to exchange or refund the item.
More specifically, we need to ensure the item is in as-new condition before accepting it as a return, especially for items like mouthpieces and ligatures. Reeds and other consumables must be unopened and in their original packaging.

5. How can I track my order?
After checkout we’ll email you a tracking number for your order. You should receive updates via email for your package while it’s on its way, but otherwise you can check with the relevant postage provider manually with the tracking number provided.
6. My order hasn’t arrived and I’m worried it’s lost!
Check your tracking number if you haven’t already, it might be right around the corner! If your tracking number isn’t working or something seems wrong, give us a call on

7. I clicked the wrong thing and I need to change my order details!
