The 2008 Festival of Brass committee are delighted to welcome the 34 bands to Christchurch next month for five days of fine music making, along with over 250 soloists for the 128th NZ National Brass Band Championships.

The contest will be held from 9 - 13 July, and adjudicators for the band sections are Simone Rebello and Peter Adams.  For more information visit the 2008 Festival of Brass website.

The Australian Army Band Brisbane again is offering you the chance to come and play with our professional musicians throughout 2008. For those who enjoyed the last performance, this reading night will provide you with another chance to meet with the players and perform some fine music. Parents are invited to attend and be involved in the evening activity.
