Yamaha Xeno YCR-8335 Professional Bb Cornet

The Xeno cornets were developed in close collaboration with some of the worlds best players and in particular David King, cornet soloist, Head of Performance Studies at the University of Salford and principal conductor of the Yorkshire Building Society band. David worked closely with Frankfurt based Yamaha R&D expert Thomas Lubitz, and the new instruments result from 2 1/2 years of research and experiments.

Yamaha YCR-2330II Bb Cornet

Yamaha standard cornets have been designed to incorporate many of the features and characteristics of our top pro models, yet at a standard model price. They offer a beautiful traditional cornet sound, and have highly accurate intonation and a comfortable playability.  The YCR-2330II has a "shepherd’s crook" style bell and features a thumbhook on the 1st valve slide. The lightweight design gives quick, easy response, and there is a choice of either lacquer or silver-plate finishes.

The new Eb cornet has been designed to provide comfort and security when performing in the high register, while maintaining a beautiful warm sound in any range. The intonation is incredibly accurate and the cornet plays with an even, nimble response.

Yamaha YCR-2610SII Eb Cornet

They offer a beautiful traditional cornet sound, and have highly accurate intonation and a comfortable playability. The YCR-2610SII has a design based upon the popular YCR-6610T and features a durable silver-plate finish.
