Winter Brass School
May 24th, 2013The Sheldon College Winter Brass School is an opportunity for developing brass students to share and engage their love for music with other students, mentors and peers who also share their passion. The Winter Brass School will be focused on developing the musicianship and technique of the students, while also continuing to nurture their enjoyment of music through tutorials, master classes, rehearsals and concerts.
Hosted by Sheldon College and featuring local brass quintet BoB (Best of Brass), the Winter Brass School will run from 1st – 3rd July 2013. The Winter Brass School will run Monday and Tuesday from 8am – 4:30pm and Wednesday from 9am – 7.30pm (closing BBQ for participants at 4pm and Concert for Parents and Friends (6pm – 7.30pm). A detailed schedule will be emailed after your registration form is received. The cost for this non-residential school is $200 per student, which will cover three days of tuition, a closing barbecue and admittance for parents and friends to the closing concert to be held in the Sheldon Event Centre 6pm Wednesday July 3.
